Today begins the last tonal cycle of the Mayan Calender period that ends this Winter Solstice, December 21, 2012. The Mayan calendar is made up of several various cycles, one predominant one being the cycle of the 13 tones. For each day there is an overarching energy signature representing one of the 13 galactic tones. There are 12 different tones as well as a 13th tone that encompasses all previous 12 energies. Winter solstice this year falls on the 12th tone, the end of the tonal cycle. The day after the solstice is Zero Point – the void in between the old and new. The first seven tones are grounded in the realities of practical Earth experience. The last six tones anchor universal cosmic energies to the Earth.
